My image of the beloved panda is not painted, but stitched with silk threads split into 32 ultra-fine filaments, capturing every soft strand of fur with lifelike detail. I was brought to life under the guidance of He Bin, Master of Chinese Arts & Crafts and Chief Weaving Artist of Shujiang Brocade Museum, using the innovative “Shimao Needle”, developed specifically by embroidery master Peng Shiping to create the delicate fuzz of panda fur.
